![]() There are so many games in this genre that have more interesting. The skill tree is dull and miniscule, the flow of combat is slow (I don't need Path of Exile manic-ness, but also don't want to be spamming builders that do 0 damage for a while just to fire off one ability that actually hurts something), the itemization is uninteresting. ![]() Forced myself to finish the campaign on a necro around level 45, and played a sorceress to mid-30s in co-op, and I couldn't even muster up enough interest to push to 50 and try out paragon. It's not that it's a bad game, per se, but I just found it kinda boring. With how long it was in development, and how many other ARPGs there are to learn from even besides their own history, it's kinda baffling. I was quite surprised how many times I was left thinking, 'Why isn't this in the game? It was in D3/D2/etc.'. I'll play S1, but I'm willing to bet I will dip out far far faster than I ever did in a Diablo 3 season and that is saying something. To be blunt, the endgame is complete but the endgame falls off a cliff at 70/80. All the while, it is getting harder and harder to do the same tier keys I cleared with ease when I was 70/80. All glyphs that I need are 15 or higher, the additive modifiers for each level after 15 are ugh virtually worthless. Never getting something that could remotely be an upgrade even if I dropped 20m re-rolling stats. ![]() Run the nightmare dungeon again, again, again, again.never getting an upgrade. It isn't hard, its just exceptionally unrewarding and tedious. ![]() Trying to make the final push to 100 on my Sorcerer before seasons start but I just cannot stomach it for more than 1-2 hours before I have to call it quits. Everything becomes a massive slog, all of the systems seem like they are designed to slow you down. The game to 70/80 is honestly really good. ![]()
